Reiki is not a substitute for medical treatment, but can be used in conjunction with medical treatment and other therapies.

It is effective in having a positive effect on the mind, body, and spirit.
What is Energy?
Energy is the flow of life; some call it Chi and others call it Prana. It's also known as Spirit.
We all have an energy body around our physical body. You might have heard of it described as an Aura.
Have you ever had the hair on your body stand up because of a sensation or ‘felt' someone looking at you? You were picking up on the subtle energy all around you.
Energy is always flowing, but sometimes the energy can create blocks causing things to become slow, stuck, and stagnant!
What happens during a Reiki Session?
Before receiving Reiki, I will review your intake form to get a better understanding of your needs and to choose the best Reiki modality for you.
During the session, you remain fully clothed and will lay down or sit on my treatment table. I will place my hand above you or gently on you to transfer the healing energy of Reiki.
This energy works to open and balance your chakras, clear out stagnant energy, stimulate well-being, and boost your emotional and spiritual health.
Reiki is believed to improve just about any aspect of life, including physical health, emotional well-being, relaxation, reducing stress, and mental clarity.
